📣 DAD’S TAKEON JOSH ALLEN

Look at this guy running around like he's auditioning for a backyard football commercial! That uniform looks like someone mixed mustard and chocolate sauce together – what kind of color scheme is that supposed to be? Sure, he can throw five touchdowns against New Mexico, but with those spindly arms and that "look ma, I'm playing quarterback" pose, he looks more like the equipment manager's nephew who got to suit up for picture day!

ABOUT JOSH ALLEN

Josh Allen is the franchise quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and one of the most exciting dual-threat players in the NFL today. He's got this incredible combination of a rocket arm and surprising mobility that makes him absolutely electric to watch, like that 52-yard touchdown run he had in their playoff win over Pittsburgh this past January where he just took over the game. Collectors love Allen because he represents the new generation of quarterbacks who can beat you throwing or running, plus he's brought playoff success back to Buffalo after years in the wilderness. Since he doesn't have traditional rookie cards, his early stuff from when he broke out commands solid premiums, and you'll want to keep an eye out for numbered parallels and autographed versions.

Allen didn't record a fourth-quarter comeback in 2024. That's because his play in the first three quarters usually staked Buffalo to a big lead heading into the final frame. At his best right after halftime, the league MVP logged a 135.1 passer rating with 12 touchdowns and one interception in the third quarter.

— 2025 PRIZM

An ESPN poll of NFL executives, personnel analysts, coaches and scouts in 2025 put Allen as the No. 2 quarterback in the NFL. Around him were Patrick Mahomes II, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson — the top four. "We have a lot of quarterback talent in the league, especially in the AFC, right now," he said.

— 2025 SELECT

Allen's childlike joy for the game fuels his play. "An 8-year-old me would obviously be just as pumped as a 28-year-old me," he said. "The only thing I've ever wanted to do in my life is play football. … I've got to continue to get better and find ways to help this team get over that hump and win a Super Bowl."

— 2025 DONRUSS

He throws a few touchdowns here, runs in a few more there, and next thing you know, Allen is the NFL\\\'s ultimate end-zone-finding machine. Pro Football Focus noted the Buffalo QB led all players with 173 total TDs from 2020-23. Patrick Mahomes II followed with 151, and Justin Herbert ranked third with 125.

— 2025 MOSAIC

Allen became the first QB in NFL history with passing, rushing and receiving touchdowns in the same game with his effort vs. the 49ers in Week 13 of 2024. Passing and rushing scores are a regularity, and he notched the rare TD grab after punching in a lateral he received after tossing a pass to Amari Cooper.

— 2025 DONRUSS

Josh has the most wins (76), total touchdowns (262) and total yards (30,595) of any NFL player through his first seven seasons. He's come through with plenty of clutch moments as well, with 23 game-winning drives through 2024. Allen became the first QB in Buffalo's history to be named league MVP in 2024.

— 2025 CHROME

Josh is the ultimate cheat code, the kind of impact player that a video-game designer would dream up. Allen is an accurate and prolific passer with the running instincts of a game-breaking tailback. He won his first NFL MVP Award in 2024 following top-five finishes in three of the previous four years.

— 2025 COSMIC CHROME

Allen didn't record a fourth-quarter comeback in 2024. That's because his play in the first three quarters usually staked Buffalo to a big lead heading into the final frame. At his best right after halftime, the league MVP logged a 125.1 passer rating with 12 touchdowns and one interception in the third quarter.

— 2025 PRIZM

Josh became the third Bills player to win the NFL MVP Award when he took it home in 2024 after leading Buffalo to its fifth straight AFC East Division title. Allen did something nobody had, tossing 25+ touchdowns, running for 10+ scores and throwing fewer than 10 interceptions in a season. His 119.6 passer rating was the fourth-highest in history.

— 2025 SIGNATURE CLASS

Not only does Josh have great wheels, but he's also a load when he gets moving, a bulldozer who doles out as much punishment on defenders as they do to him. It's why he's such an effective runner around the goal line. Allen's 15 rushing touchdowns in 2023 are tied for the most in a season by a quarterback.

— 2025 COSMIC CHROME

Every star college player aims to go out with a win. Allen accomplished that, taking care of Central Michigan during his final rodeo with the Cowboys. In the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Dec. 22, 2017, the quarterback tossed a trio of touchdown passes to engineer a 37-14 victory.

— 2025 PRIZM DRAFT PICKS

In an era where more and more QBs are thriving in the air and on the ground, Allen stands apart. The Bills star is not the most effective dual-threat scorer in NFL history. In 2024, he led the NFL with at least 25 two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in six games. He has 25 such games in his career, a league record.

— 2025 DONRUSS

Allen became the third player (and first quarterback) in Bills history to win the NFL's Most Valuable Player award in 2024. His superb stat line convinced the voters. The dual-threat playmaker recorded 4,262 yards of offense and 40 combined touchdowns, securing a Second Team All-Pro spot as well.

— 2025 DONRUSS

A masterful performance from Allen lifted the Bills to a postseason win over Pittsburgh on Jan. 15, 2024. The dual-threat quarterback tallied a trio of passing touchdowns, but really stole the show with a rush. His 52-yard scamper for six in the second quarter set up a 31-17 triumph.

— 2025 MOSAIC

As if Allen throwing four touchdown passes wasn\\\\\\\'t enough trouble for a defense. The Bills quarterback can also run for points, as he did in Week 4 of 2023 when Miami came to town. The Dolphins had no answer for the dual threat, who zapped them with 21-for-25 passing and the five combined scores.

— 2025 MOSAIC

Josh capped a stellar 2024 campaign by winning his first MVP award. He took home the NFL's highest honor after helping Buffalo set franchise records for touchdowns (63) and points (509). Allen was at the center of that success as the first player in league history with 40 total TDs in five straight seasons.

— 2025 CHROME

Josh had Buffalo firing on all cylinders in 2024 as the earliest team to clinch a division title (Week 13) in 15 seasons. The Bills scored 30+ points in 12 games, a mark that tied for the second-most in league history, while Allen surpassed Jim Kelly's franchise record for total touchdowns.

— 2025 CHROME

Allen the passer is electric. Allen the runner sometimes goes a step beyond, as in high voltage. The Bills simply plug him in and let him light up defenses however he sees fit. In 2023, he amped up his ground production by scoring a career-best 15 rushing touchdowns, tied for second most in the NFL.

— 2024 CONTENDERS FOOTBALL

Allen's rivalry with Patrick Mahomes II is well documented. In Week 6 of 2024, the Buffalo passer added to the tale by snatching a record from his Kansas City counterpart. Facing the Jets, Allen recorded his 232nd touchdown, eclipsing Mahomes' NFL record of 231 through a player's first seven seasons.

— 2024 SELECT

While he plays his football at three hour drive from the glitz and glamor of New York, Josh Allen is doubtful that he would become a must see spectacle that can be mentioned in the same breath as the best acts on Broadway.

— 2024 ZENITH

The Bills have had some of the league's most entertaining offenses with Kelly and Allen running the show, especially during the fourth quarter. In his first six seasons, Allen cobbled together double-digit fourth-quarter comebacks and game-winning drives, showing a similar clutch gene as the Hall of Famer.
