Look at this guy – they literally named him after his footwear! That's like me being called "New Balance" or "Cargo Shorts." And what's with that dopey expression while holding a plunger? This fish looks like he'd order coral bits at a restaurant and think he's being sophisticated. At least the sandals match his complete lack of effort in everything else.
About Sandals
Sandals was an olive-green fish with spots who earned the nickname "Sandals" because he was often seen wearing (wait for it) sandals. Once, he ordered coral bits at the Krusty Krab, and in doing so, he netted Mr. Krabs his one millionth dollar. And on another occasion, Sandals told SpongeBob and Patrick about the famous sea lion Craig Mammalton.
