Look at this decrepit old rust bucket! This place looks like it was built during the Civil War and hasn't seen a fresh coat of paint since. No wonder Mermaid Man ended up here – one look at those busted pipes and crumbling walls and I'd rather take my chances fighting the Dirty Bubble than spend my golden years in this underwater dump!

The Shady Shoals Rest Home was where Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy ended up after they retired from active duty things about Shady Shoals. Man liked quite a few boat in the cafeteria, as well as the beds and TV. However, SpongeBob was constantly calling his hero out of retirement to aid him on some misadventure!
