Barnacleboy was a sidekick. He got scraped barnacles off of Mermaidman's sidekick. He had when he was a young sailor named Kyle, who scraped barnacles off of boats. In his early days, Barnacleboy was full of vitality. As an elderly man enjoying retirement, Barnacleboy has spent his golden years living in the Shady Shoals Retirement Home.
