Zion Branch was born on January 15, 2003… He first burst onto the scene as a true freshman in 2021 when he had 3 interceptions and 8 pass breakups in 15 games… Branch has been a key contributor to Georgia's secondary and helped the Bulldogs win the 2021 National Championship… He's known for his ball skills and ability to make plays on the football… Branch has started multiple games for the Bulldogs and continues to be an important part of their defensive backfield.

Zion Branch has been a standout in the secondary for Alabama since arriving in Tuscaloosa. The talented defensive back has shown great instincts and coverage skills throughout his collegiate career. Branch's ability to read quarterbacks and break on the ball has made him a key contributor to Alabama's defensive success. His combination of size, speed, and football IQ makes him an intriguing prospect for the next level.

Branch burst onto the scene in 2023 – his first year playing college football – with 47 catches for 454 yards and three touchdowns. The Oklahoma transfer was a three-star recruit coming out of high school in Las Vegas and spent a year at a junior college before making his way to Norman. Branch has good size and speed and should be a key target in the Sooners' passing attack.

Branch was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2022 after recording 42 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups in his first season. The safety from Las Vegas continued his strong play in 2023, tallying 71 tackles, four interceptions and 11 pass breakups while helping lead Georgia to another strong season. Branch declared for the NFL Draft following his sophomore campaign.

Branch made his Georgia debut in 2023, and did not see action in the first four games of the season due to injury. He appeared in nine games as a true freshman, recording eight tackles and a pass breakup.
