THE TAYLOR WARD COLLECTION
Base, parallels, numbered, autos — every Taylor Ward card Dad’s willing to part with.
Here we have Taylor Ward's one-year Baltimore rental commemorated in cardboard. You get the standard Topps Series 2 base, the Chrome base, and a Refractor that looks marginally shinier. Ward changed his entire approach with the Orioles, stopped hitting home runs, and walked a lot before getting flipped to Seattle at the deadline. Three cards documenting a forgettable pit stop between California and the Pacific Northwest.
ABOUT TAYLOR WARD
Taylor Ward was drafted 26th overall by the Los Angeles Angels in the first round of the 2015 MLB draft after playing three seasons of college baseball for the Fresno State Bulldogs. After spending four seasons in the Angels farm system and being converted to a third baseman, he made his MLB debut in 2018. He clobbered 98 home runs from 2022-25 for the Angels, posted a 119 wRC+, and racked up 11 WAR over the span, and easily set new career highs in home runs (36), RBI (103) and runs (86) in 2025. The Los Angeles Angels traded LF Taylor Ward to Baltimore Orioles for RHP Grayson Rodriguez in November 2025.
The collection includes his 2026 Orioles cards from Topps Series 2 base and two Topps Chrome editions: the standard base and a Refractor parallel. Ward played for the Baltimore Orioles in 2026 before being traded to the Seattle Mariners in August 2026, making these Baltimore cards a brief snapshot of his single-season tenure with the organization.
