📣 DAD’S TAKEON HUNTER BROWN

Look at this kid saluting like he just got promoted to general of the mound. You're wearing an ASTROS jersey, son, not enlisting in the military – save the dramatics and just throw the ball. And of course he's got a 30% dip in his stats while doing MORE than a .30% chance he practiced that salute in the mirror before picture day.

ABOUT HUNTER BROWN

Hunter Brown is one of those Astros pitchers who just keeps getting better, and his 2025 breakout really put him on the map. He made his first All-Star team after posting a 2.43 ERA that was fourth best in the American League, and his strikeout rate was absolutely nasty, trailing only Crochet and Skubal. That upper 90s fastball is basically unhittable when he's locked in, getting whiffs over 30% of the time. He doesn't have true rookie cards since he came up earlier, but his early base cards are still affordable and his numbered parallels from that All-Star season are definitely worth grabbing before they climb.

Hunter's splendid 2025 included his first invite to the MLB All-Star Game after he went 9-4 and posted a 2.43 ERA that ranked fourth in the American League. Brown did it with an unhittable four-seam fastball that creeps into the upper 90s and gets whiffs at a more than a 30% clip. His 10.7 SO's/9 IP trailed only Garrett Crochet and Tarik Skubal in the AL.
