📣 DAD’S TAKEON ZYHIR HOPE
Three cards to commemorate a prospect who spent barely 18 months in the organization before getting shipped to Detroit. The two 2025 Bowman Chrome entries with their cryptic BP and BCP designations just scream unnecessary product segmentation. At least collectors got his first Dodgers base cards before he became someone else's problem in the Skubal deal.
ABOUT ZYHIR HOPE
Zyhir Hope was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 11th round of the 2023 amateur draft out of a high school in Virginia. On January 11, 2024, he was included in a major league trade that sent him to the Dodgers alongside pitcher Jackson Ferris in return for first baseman Michael Busch and pitcher Yency Almonte. He played most of 2025 with the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League, where he hit .264 in 121 games with 13 homers and 75 RBIs. On August 2, 2026, the Los Angeles Dodgers traded Hope, pitcher River Ryan and pitcher Brady Smith to Detroit Tigers for pitcher Tarik Skubal. In 124 Double-A games across two organizations in 2026, Hope posted a .287 batting average, a .367 on-base percentage, and an .880 OPS with 29 home runs, 111 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases. This small collection features Hope as a Dodgers prospect across 2025 Bowman Chrome and 2026 Prizm releases.
