📣 DAD’S TAKEON LUKE KEASCHALL

Look at this kid with the flowing locks like he's auditioning for a shampoo commercial instead of playing baseball. Number 28 swinging away for the Twins like he's got all the time in the world – probably spends more time conditioning that mane than studying pitchers. Back in my day, we got haircuts before rookie cards, not modeling contracts.

ABOUT LUKE KEASCHALL

Luke Keaschall is one of those guys the Twins are really excited about after taking him sixth overall in the 2024 draft. He's a catcher out of Wichita State who can absolutely rake, he hit over .320 with serious power his junior year, and scouts love his work behind the plate calling games. The catching position always carries a premium in this hobby because there just aren't that many elite guys who can hit and handle pitchers. Since he doesn't have true rookie cards yet, you're looking at his first professional cards and draft picks, and those early numbered parallels could be solid long-term holds if he develops like the Twins think he will.

Luke Jones the action with loud tool and an aggressive style. Called up early in 2025, he hit safely in each of his first six games with the Twins, going 5 for 5 on stolen bases over that span.

Keaschall was selected in the first round (sixth overall) by the Minnesota Twins in the 2024 MLB Draft. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound catcher from Wichita State University was considered one of the top catching prospects in college baseball. He hit .324 with 24 home runs and 76 RBIs during his junior season with the Shockers. Keaschall is known for his strong defensive skills behind the plate and his ability to handle a pitching staff. He made his professional debut in the Arizona Complex League following the draft.
