Look at this guy posing like he's launching himself into orbit – what is this, a space program or baseball? All that fancy fireworks nonsense in the background and dramatic superhero stance, when back in my day players just stood there and looked serious. Sure, 41 home runs is nice, but maybe spend less time practicing your rocket ship impressions and more time learning how to tuck in that jersey properly!
About Juan Soto
Although widely lauded for his plate discipline, Juan has preposterous power that is just as praiseworthy. Soto crushed a career-high 41 dingers in 2024 while finishing second among qualified hitters with a .419 OBP. He rated in the 98th percentile or better in hard-hit percentage, barrel rate and average exit velocity. He logged one of the highest max exit velos with his 115.7-mph double on April 10.
