TORONTO BLUE JAYS
The Blue Jays binder’s got a solid mix of Vlad Jr., some Bowman Chrome prospects like Arjun Nimmala, and a few signed Topps pieces that showed up when I wasn’t looking. Canada’s team doesn’t get enough love from American collectors, which means I keep adding to this pile—more rookies, more Chrome, and whatever next year’s prospect class decides to throw at us.
After a disappointing 74-88 finish in 2024 that marked their first losing season since 2019, the Blue Jays rebounded with a 94-68 record in 2025, winning the AL East for the first time since 2015 and reaching the World Series before losing to the Dodgers. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. led the postseason with 8 home runs, elevating his card values through the playoff run, while Bo Bichette departed to the Mets on a three-year, $126 million deal after the season, creating uncertainty around his previously strong collector demand in a Blue Jays uniform.
Where they stand: The team entered 2026 as defending AL champions, but sits at 49-58 through late July, eight games below .500 with playoff hopes fading. Guerrero Jr. has struggled in 2026 with no home runs at Rogers Centre, while the team is expected to trade pending free agents Kevin Gausman, George Springer, and Daulton Varsho at the deadline to reset for 2027.
