ATLANTA HAWKS
The Hawks binder has plenty of Trae Young, some Dominique Wilkins throwbacks, and a decent stack of Donruss base cards that keep piling up. Got rookies in here, no autos yet, and a few oddball names like Spud Webb because why not. As long as Atlanta keeps drafting and Donruss keeps printing, this binder’s only getting fatter—check back next season when the new rookie class lands and I rip into whatever overpriced blasters Panini decides to ship.
The Hawks went 40-42 in 2024-25, missing the playoffs, then rebounded to 46-36 in 2025-26 with a first-round playoff exit to the Knicks. Trae Young was traded to Washington in February 2026 for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert, ending his eight-year tenure and shifting collector focus away from his cards. Kristaps Porzingis was also dealt to Golden State for Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield, while Jalen Johnson emerged with career highs of 43 points and 18 rebounds in multiple games, making his cards a new breakout target. The Hawks acquired guard Dyson Daniels in the 2024 Dejounte Murray trade to New Orleans, and drafted Zaccharie Risacher first overall in 2024, though Risacher was later traded to Dallas in July 2026.
Where they stand: The 2025-26 season ended with Atlanta finishing 46-36 as Southeast Division champions before losing to the Knicks 2-4 in the first round. This offseason the Hawks extended CJ McCollum, acquired Aaron Wiggins from Oklahoma City, signed coach Quin Snyder to an extension, and added pieces in the 2026 NBA Draft. Atlanta selected Houston guard Kingston Flemings with the eighth pick in the 2026 draft, and remains focused on adding frontcourt help via trade as the team continues reshaping its roster.
