The rookie class keeps trickling in, and as Brooklyn leans into the youth movement, this binder’s only gonna get fatter with next year’s fresh faces and whatever shiny new products Panini and Topps decide to throw at us.

The Nets endured three consecutive seasons outside the playoffs, declining from 32-50 in 2023-24 to 26-56 in 2024-25 before bottoming out at 20-62 in 2025-26. After trading Mikal Bridges to the Knicks in June 2024 for six first-round picks and dealing away Cam Thomas during the 2025-26 season, Brooklyn fully committed to rebuilding around young draft picks rather than veteran talent. The five first-rounders selected in the 2025 draft showed little immediate impact, and collector attention shifted away from Nets players as the team lacked a franchise cornerstone heading into the 2026 offseason.

Where they stand: Brooklyn finished the 2025-26 season with a league-worst 20-62 record and was eliminated from playoff contention on March 12, marking their third straight year missing the postseason. The team now enters the offseason with significant cap space and selected Mikel Brown Jr. with the sixth pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, adding to a young roster that includes Michael Porter Jr. and a collection of recent draft picks as they continue their rebuild.
