DENVER NUGGETS
The Nuggets binder’s got a decent stack of Jokić, some Alex English, and a handful of Donruss and Finest scattered throughout. No autos yet, no rookies yet, but that’s what next season’s for—plenty of product left to rip, and this pile’s only getting taller.
The Nuggets won their first franchise title in 2023, but the years since have brought roster upheaval and coaching change. In 2024-25 they advanced to the second round before falling to Oklahoma City, then fired longtime coach Michael Malone in April 2025 and hired David Adelman. Last summer Denver traded Michael Porter Jr. to Brooklyn for Cameron Johnson to cut costs, a move that shifted collector focus away from Porter's cards while both Jokic and Jamal Murray earned All-NBA honors for 2025-26, boosting Murray's card values. Jokic missed four weeks with a knee injury during the season, and breakout forward Peyton Watson averaged 14.6 points while shooting 41.1 percent from three before his own injury, making his rookie cards a sleeper target. The 2025-26 campaign ended with a 54-28 record and a first-round playoff loss to Minnesota.
Where they stand: Denver finished 54-28 and lost in the first round to the Timberwolves in six games to close 2025-26. The team is now in the August 2026 offseason, and so far has signed Marvin Bagley and Tyus Jones while restricted free agent Peyton Watson remains unsigned. Backcourt depth is a concern with Jones, Strawther, and Simpson as the only backup guards, and the front office faces decisions on whether to retool around Jokic or make deeper changes after consecutive disappointing playoff exits.
