INDIANA PACERS
The Pacers have given us plenty to work with over the years, and this binder’s got a nice run of Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin stuff, plus some Lance Stephenson throwbacks and a few signed Donruss singles. Rookies keep landing, Finest keeps printing, and the pile just keeps growing every time I crack a box.
The Pacers reached the NBA Finals in 2024-25 with a 50-32 record, defeating Milwaukee, Cleveland, and New York in the playoffs before losing to Oklahoma City 3-4. Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton tore his Achilles in Game 7 of the Finals, and the team crashed to 19-63 in 2025-26, finishing 14th in the East. The midseason trade of Bennedict Mathurin and Isaiah Jackson to the Clippers for Ivica Zubac along with Myles Turner departing in free agency to Milwaukee reshaped the roster, while Haliburton's season-long absence dampened collector demand for his cards after his Finals heroics had elevated his market.
Where they stand: The 2025-26 season ended with a 19-63 record, and Haliburton will miss the entire campaign recovering from Achilles surgery. The Pacers are now in the offseason, where they remained relatively quiet but signed Kelly Oubre Jr. to a two-year deal and added veteran Larry Nance Jr. while preparing for Haliburton's return in 2026-27.
