The New Jersey Nets are gone, but the cardboard lives on. Got some Jason Kidd Finest in here because someone had to represent the Swamp Dragons era with a little class. The team might’ve packed up for Brooklyn, but the vintage pile keeps growing every time I crack another box from the good old days.
The Nets traded franchise cornerstone Mikal Bridges to the Knicks in June 2024 for a haul of five first-round picks, signaling a full rebuild after posting a 32-50 record in 2023-24. Bridges' cards cooled significantly after the trade, while the team pivoted to developing five 2025 first-round rookies including Egor Dëmin and Nolan Traoré. The rebuild bottomed out in 2025-26 with a franchise-worst 20-62 record, but rookie cards from the Flatbush Five gained early collector interest as the team committed heavy minutes to youth development.
