📣 DAD’S TAKEON MANDRELL DESIR
Two different Bowman base cards with two different numbers for the same sophomore? Sure, why not. One catalog system apparently wasn't enough for 2026. Both are plain base versions, no parallels or inserts to separate them, just different prefixes doing whatever Bowman decided prefixes should do that year. At least you get twice the roster spot opportunities when the checklist repeats itself.
ABOUT MANDRELL DESIR
Mandrell Desir is a defensive tackle for the Florida State Seminoles who attended Miami Norland Senior High School in Miami Gardens with his twin brother Darryll. Desir and his brother originally committed to the University of Central Florida before flipping their commitment to Florida State University. Desir played all 12 games of his true freshman campaign in 2025 and finished the year with 30 tackles, including 7.5 for loss with 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup. His sacks and tackles for loss totals both led all ACC freshmen, and his sacks total was the third-highest for a freshman in FSU history. He earned FWAA Freshman All-American, On3 True Freshman All-American, and All-ACC Honorable Mention honors in 2025.
The collection features two 2026 Bowman base cards of Desir in Florida State gear, one with catalog number BCP-46 and another numbered BPP-46. These represent early mainstream trading card releases for the Miami native during his sophomore season with the Seminoles.
