VIRGINIA CAVALIERS
Look, Virginia football isn’t exactly lighting up the playoff conversation, but somebody’s gotta collect these guys. We’ve got a decent stack of Prizm Draft Picks with names like Chris Tyree and Jonas Sanker holding down the fort. The good news is there’s always another recruiting class coming through Charlottesville, which means more rookies to chase and more cardboard to shove in this binder next season.
Virginia went 5-7 in 2024 and surged to 11-3 in 2025, achieving bowl eligibility for the first time since 2021 and capping the year with a Gator Bowl win over Missouri. Quarterback Anthony Colandrea started as a true freshman in 2023 before transferring to UNLV after the 2024 season, creating roster turnover that led to Tony Elliott bringing in 30 transfers for 2025. The breakthrough 2025 campaign drove renewed collector interest in Cavaliers players after three straight non-bowl seasons under Elliott.
Where they stand: Virginia enters 2026 under Tony Elliott in his fifth year as head coach, with the season opening August 29 against NC State in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as part of the inaugural College Football Brasil. The Cavaliers added transfer quarterbacks Beau Pribula and Eli Holstein along with UCLA receiver Rico Flores Jr as Elliott worked through the transfer portal to replenish the roster. The team is currently in preseason preparation ahead of their international season opener.
