THE HERMAN MOORE COLLECTION
Base, parallels, numbered, autos — every Herman Moore card Dad’s willing to part with.
Look at this guy showing off with the one-handed catch like he's auditioning for a poster in a teenager's bedroom. Back in my day, you used BOTH hands to secure the football – that's why God gave you two of them! Sure, he caught 123 balls in '95, but I bet at least half of those could've been interceptions if he wasn't being so fancy about it.
ABOUT HERMAN MOORE
Herman Moore was one of those Detroit Lions receivers who could absolutely fly and had glue for hands during the 90s. The guy was a machine in 1995, hauling in 123 catches for over 1,600 yards and 14 scores, plus he made history as the first receiver to crack 100 receptions three years straight. He earned four Pro Bowl nods with the Lions and was really the go-to target during some solid Detroit years. Since he doesn't have rookie cards, collectors usually hunt for his early 90s base cards and any numbered parallels from his peak seasons.
Herman Moore brought his speed and sure hands to Detroit in 1991. Moore proved that he had the right stuff when he caught 123 passes for 1,686 yards and 14 touchdowns in 1995. That season, he became the first receiver in NFL history to catch 100 or more passes in three consecutive seasons. Moore was selected to the Pro Bowl four times during his career with the Lions.
