THE JEFF BLAKE COLLECTION
Base, parallels, numbered, autos — every Jeff Blake card Dad’s willing to part with.

Look at this guy posing like he's about to toss a football in a department store catalog. That helmet's so shiny and those wristbands so crisp, he looks like he just got dressed by his mom before picture day. Sure, he threw for 3,600 yards, but I bet he spent more time in front of the mirror getting those sleeves rolled *just right* than he did studying film.
ABOUT JEFF BLAKE
Jeff Blake was one of those gunslinger quarterbacks who could really air it out, and he had his best years with the Bengals in the mid-90s. His 1995 season was absolutely stellar, throwing for over 3,800 yards and 28 touchdowns, which earned him a Pro Bowl appearance. He followed that up with another strong campaign in 1996, so those back-to-back years really cemented his reputation as a deep threat QB. Since he doesn't have true rookie cards, collectors usually focus on his inserts and refractors from his prime Cincinnati years, especially anything from that Pro Bowl season.
Both of Blake's 3,000-yard campaigns came during his time in Cincinnati. In 1995 the signal-caller set career highs in yards (3,822) and TDs (28), earning him his lone Pro Bowl nod. He maintained that high level of play in 1996, slinging the rock and racking up 3,624 yards and 24 touchdowns.
