📣 DAD’S TAKEON KELLEN WINSLOW

Look at this guy cradling that football like it's a loaf of bread he's bringing home from the grocery store. For someone who "revolutionized" the tight end position, he's running like he's late for his carpool shift. And what's with the white tape on both forearms? Did he get into a fight with a mummy before the photo shoot?

ABOUT KELLEN WINSLOW

Oh man, Kellen Winslow was absolutely revolutionary at the tight end position back in the day. This guy made Pro Bowls six times and completely changed how teams used tight ends, becoming the first one to lead his team in catches three years straight. He was so dominant that he got into the Hall of Fame in 1995, which really speaks to how he transformed the position. Since he doesn't have rookie cards, collectors usually focus on his early second-year issues and any autographed pieces from his playing days. Look for clean corners and good centering on his vintage cards, they can be pretty condition sensitive.

In 1979, Winslow capped his first season in the NFL by being named to the Pro Bowl. Winslow became the first tight end in NFL history to lead his team in receptions for three consecutive seasons. He was named to the Pro Bowl six times and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995.
