📣 DAD’S TAKEON TIM BROWN

Look at this guy posing like he's about to hand me the football instead of, I don't know, CATCHING it? You're a receiver, son – show me some actual receiving! And what's with clutching that ball with both hands like you're afraid it's gonna run away? No wonder they had to tell us about his stats on the back, because this front side sure isn't showing me anything.

ABOUT TIM BROWN

Tim Brown made quite the splash when Oakland picked him up in 2009, putting together one of the most impressive starts in Raiders history. In just his first four games, he racked up 28 catches for 323 yards, which was actually a franchise record for receiving yards by any Raiders receiver in their opening games. He kept that momentum going and finished his rookie year with solid numbers across the board. Collectors really gravitate toward his cards because of that record-breaking start and his immediate impact with the silver and black. Look for his autographed cards and numbered parallels, since he doesn't have traditional rookie cards from his draft year.

When the Raiders traded their first in Week 11 of 2006, it was a game changing move that helped propel the team to the playoffs. Brown had 5 catches for 61 yards that day, including a 23-yard reception that set up the game-winning field goal. It was vintage Tim Brown – making the clutch play when his team needed it most.

It was his 1,000th career reception, making him just the 5th player in NFL history to reach that milestone.
