Kid's gonna get his clock cleaned running that high – oh wait, looks like according to the back of the card, he already did and *still* can't figure out how to get low. At least tuck your chin, McGahee!
ABOUT WILLIS MCGAHEE
Willis McGahee was an absolute beast at running back for the Bills, especially when it came to punching it in near the goal line. The guy made a name for himself as a bruising runner who could either bounce off defenders or just power through the pile for six points. He earned a Pro Bowl nod during his time in Buffalo, and collectors remember him as one of those tough, physical backs from that era. His cards are pretty affordable since he's not a Hall of Famer, but look for autographs and low-numbered parallels if you want the better stuff from his playing days.
It seems counterintuitive but the closer you are to the end zone, the more difficult it gets to run the ball in. Whether he was pounding rock, however, it seemed pretty easy. Whether he was pounding off would-be tacklers or pushing up the pile ahead, the Pro Bowl rusher never had a hard time putting up six points.

The fleet-footed back started 40 games and piled up 3,365 yards and 24 touchdowns over that stretch — both of those marks ranked in the top 10 in the NFL during that span.

Patience is a virtue. The Bills proved as much when they landed McGahee in the first round in 2003. After missing his rookie campaign, he made up for lost time by logging 1,128 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground in 2004. That marked the first of four 1,000-yard campaigns for the electric back.
