📣 DAD’S TAKEON CRAIG MORTON

Look at this guy posing like he's about to toss a medicine ball at his physical therapist. That orange jersey is so bright it looks like a traffic cone had a baby with a pumpkin, and buddy here is wearing it like he just got voluntold to play quarterback at the company picnic. Super Bowl XII, huh? Well, with that dopey expression and those floppy white pants, I'm guessing the other team saw him coming from three counties away.

ABOUT CRAIG MORTON

Craig Morton was a solid quarterback who really made his mark in the 1970s, especially during that magical 1977 season when he took the Broncos to their first ever Super Bowl. The former Cal star had a great arm and was known for his leadership on the field, throwing for nearly 2,000 yards that championship season while also being surprisingly mobile for a pocket passer. Collectors appreciate Morton because he represents that exciting era when Denver football really took off, and his cards capture a pivotal moment in franchise history. Since he doesn't have true rookie cards from his early Dallas days, his Denver-era cards are what most collectors focus on, with his 1978 issues being particularly popular since they commemorate that Super Bowl run.

Craig Morton was one of the top NFL quarterbacks during the 1970s. Morton had his finest season in 1977 when he led the Denver Broncos to their first Super Bowl appearance. The former University of California star completed 131 of 254 passes for 1,929 yards and 14 touchdowns. Craig also rushed for 254 yards and four touchdowns during the regular season.
