Jonah Elliss is a defensive player who got drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2024, and honestly, this kid caught everyone's attention including head coach Sean Payton. The Broncos already had solid pass rush talent, but when Elliss was available they couldn't pass him up because you just don't ignore that kind of ability when it falls in your lap. He's one of those players where the coaching staff basically said we'll figure out how to use all this talent later. His rookie cards are definitely worth grabbing now while they're still affordable, and I'd keep an eye out for any numbered parallels since he could really break out once he gets more playing time in Denver.
While the Broncos didn't necessarily need more pass-rush help, they couldn't pass on Elliss in the 2024 draft. Jonah was just too good to pass, wearing head coach Sean Payton. You're never going to pass on talent or draft for your strength. We just sort that out.

Look at this kid posing like he's about to ask his mom for lunch money instead of rushing the quarterback! That uniform's so clean and pristine, I bet he's never even broken a sweat in practice. Sean Payton says he was "too good to pass" but from this baby-faced rookie card, looks like opposing offensive linemen are gonna pass right by him on their way to pancake him into the turf!
