Brett Favre Football Cards

About Brett Favre

Oh man, Brett Favre is an absolute legend, one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. He spent most of his career slinging passes for Green Bay, and collectors absolutely love him for his gunslinger mentality and all those incredible comebacks. The guy was known for his rocket arm and taking risks that other quarterbacks wouldn't even dream of attempting. His cards have stayed pretty popular over the years, especially anything from his Packers days when he was really tearing up the league. Look for his autographed cards and any numbered parallels, those tend to hold their value really well in the hobby.

After one season in Atlanta, Brett Favre was traded to the Green Bay Packers in 1992. He went on to become one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history, winning three consecutive MVP awards from 1995-97 and leading the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XXXI. After 16 seasons in Green Bay, Favre spent one season with the New York Jets before joining the Minnesota Vikings.

Dad’s Take on Brett Favre

Look at this guy posing like he's about to throw a spiral to his buddy at a backyard barbecue! That uniform looks like something you'd find in the clearance bin at a sporting goods store from 1989 – which apparently it IS from 1989. Sure, he beat Florida State, but with that casual stance and that helmet that's seen better days, I'm surprised he didn't accidentally throw the ball to the hot dog vendor in the stands!
