The Raiders moved to Vegas, and apparently I followed them into way too many breaks. You’ll find plenty of Brock Bowers rookies, a solid Maxx Crosby stack, and enough Mosaic and Optic to make me question my budgeting skills. With Ashton Jeanty joining the Silver and Black and another year of Chrome products on the horizon, this binder’s only getting fatter—whether my wallet likes it or not.
The Raiders have spiraled through four consecutive losing seasons, bottoming out at 4-13 in 2024 and an even worse 3-14 in 2025, securing the first overall pick in the 2026 draft. Rookie tight end Brock Bowers broke the franchise receptions record in 2024 and earned Pro Bowl honors in both 2024 and 2025, driving collector attention to his rookie cards, while defensive end Maxx Crosby remained a Pro Bowl fixture before being traded this offseason. The franchise's collapse has shifted focus from win-now veterans to emerging young talent and the arrival of top draft picks.
Where they stand: The 2026 season marks the team's first under head coach Klint Kubiak after firing Pete Carroll following just one season. The Raiders used the first overall pick on quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who won the 2025 Heisman Trophy after leading Indiana to a national championship, and added veteran QB Kirk Cousins and linebacker Quay Walker on a three-year, $40.5 million deal to stabilize the roster. As of August 8, 2026, the team is in training camp preparing for their preseason opener against Arizona.
