Anticipation built for Nakua's 2025 campaign after he followed his legendary rookie season in which he set a slew of receiving records with another star posting. 1,036 yards from the scrimmage in just 11 games, and his average of 90 receiving yards per game placed third in the league.

Puka is a tough, reliable receiver with exceptional hands and refined route-running. He wins with strength, timing and body control more than pure speed. Nacua breaks tackles and hunts open space, making him one of the league's best after the catch.

Not only is Nacua one of Los Angeles' fastest-rising stars, but his signature look is catching on, too. His former teammate, Aaron Donald, went viral on social media after donning a wig similar to the wide receiver's flowing locks and declaring that he wanted to dress up as the wide receiver for Halloween.

There are five instances in which the Rams have seen a 100-catch season, and only four players have done it. The honors belong to Cooper Kupp, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt (twice) and Nacua, who cracked the century mark as a ravishing rookie in 2023. His 105 grabs are the fourth most in a campaign in team history.

Nacua's stellar rookie year earned him some special recognition, including a social media shoutout from an NBA icon. "I'm a huge LeBron fan, so stuff like that definitely doesn't go over my head," he said. "I said in a group chat … if my girlfriend wasn't my screensaver then that LeBron posting would be."
