📣 DAD’S TAKEON TERRELL OWENS

Look at this guy cradling that football like it's a newborn baby he's about to spike in the end zone for attention. Number 84 there thinks he's running so hard, but I've seen dads at Costco move faster when they announce free samples. And what's with that facemask? Looks like he's wearing a birdcage, which is fitting since he played for the Eagles and probably chirped just as much!

ABOUT TERRELL OWENS

Oh man, Terrell Owens, now there's a legend for you! T.O. was one of the most explosive wide receivers the NFL has ever seen, known just as much for his incredible catches and touchdown celebrations as he was for his outspoken personality. The guy had a Hall of Fame career bouncing between teams like San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Dallas, putting up monster numbers wherever he went. His second-year cards from 1997 are pretty solid since he really broke out that season with 60 catches and 936 yards after a quiet rookie year. Look for his autographed cards and low-numbered parallels, those tend to hold their value really well with collectors.

There's no quicker way to endear yourself to Philly fans than showing out against Dallas. Owens checked that box in Week 10 of 2004, logging six catches for 134 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-21 win. He finished his first season with the team with 14 receiving scores to earn First Team All-Pro honors.

Terrell brought a swagger and much-needed explosiveness in the passing game to Philadelphia that helped the team reach Super Bowl XXXIX. In 2004, he led the team with 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns. Seven weeks removed from breaking his leg, he caught nine passes for 122 yards in the title game.

You might have loved Owens. You might have hated him. But everyone tuned in to see what T.O. did next, which is why it was so easy for Cowboys fans to flip the switch from hate to love as soon as he joined their team. There, he played at his usual high level, with three straight 1,000-yard seasons beginning in 2006.

Coming off a 12-win season, the Eagles flew even higher in 2004 after Owens helped the team to the NFC's best, 13-3 record. Nearly unstoppable on the perimeter, the star receiver helped his other nest, nearly unstoppable on the perimeter, the star receiver helped his other nest in total yardage then he put on a show with 122 yards in Super Bowl XXXIX.

— 2025 DONRUSS

A third-round pick in 1996 out of Tennessee-Martin, Owens made his NFL debut in Week 8 against the Houston Oilers. He caught 35 passes for 520 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie. A big-play receiver who can stretch the field, Owens had his best season in 2000 when he caught 97 passes for 1,451 yards and 13 touchdowns.
