Oh man, Steve Young is an absolute legend for any 49ers collector. This guy was pure magic under center, with that scrambling ability and laser arm that made him one of the most exciting quarterbacks to ever play the game. He stepped into some pretty big shoes following Joe Montana in San Francisco, but he made that position his own and led the team to a Super Bowl championship. Young doesn't have traditional rookie cards since he started in the USFL before joining the NFL, so his early NFL cards from the mid-80s are what collectors really chase.
