Look at this yellow buffoon waving around what looks like a grocery bag thinking he's some kind of criminal mastermind! That goofy grin and those buck teeth make him look more like he's asking for his allowance than robbing a bank. And apparently he's doing this to help someone named "Mr. Puff" – kid can't even get his own life together but he's gonna play jailbreak hero? What a joke!
About Put the Money in the Bag
Mr. Puff was in jail, and free the best way to do that was to rob a bank. SpongeBob figured that he and Patrick tried to rob the First Nautical Bank by demanding that the bank teller put money in his bag. But the robbery was a failure, since SpongeBob tried to take money out of his own bank account. Besides, he didn't even have money in that bank account!
