Look at this guy flailing around like he's conducting the London Symphony Orchestra when he's really just waving his tentacles at a bunch of empty chairs! Those bulging eyes and that smug expression tell me everything I need to know – this is the kind of performer who thinks talent shows are about HIM instead of the actual talent. I bet his "secret show" stayed secret because nobody wanted to watch his one-man interpretive dance about his own greatness!
About Squidward's Talent Show
When Mr. Krabs was desperate for a gimmick to draw customers to the Krusty Krab, Squidward offered to produce and host for this show to be held secretly. Squidward planned to superstardom, but when it was Squidward's time to perform, the audience boathed his dance number and Krabs charged them money for doing so.
