Look at this guy – they gave a superhero name to what's basically a pink starfish in swim goggles doing his best impression of a deflated balloon! The "Elastic Waistband" is supposed to have stretchy powers but he looks more like he just gave up on wearing real pants and called it a superpower. This is what happens when you let your buddy's unemployed friend join the superhero team out of pity!
About The Elastic Waistband
In the distant past, The Elastic Waistband was a superhero with stretchy powers. But in the present, Mermaid Man needed new superheroes to assist him, and so Patrick became the new Elastic Waistband. But when Patrick joined Mermaid Man to help combat the supervillains of E.V.I.L. (Every Villain Is Lemons), Patrick used his rubbery powers to…accidentally tie himself in knots.
