CONNECTICUT SUN
The Sun have been making noise in the playoffs, and the binder’s got a solid stack of Prizm and Select to show for it—plenty of Tina Charles, Marina Mabrey, and some promising young talent like Rayah Marshall and Aneesah Morrow. Connecticut keeps drafting well and adding pieces, so expect this section to keep piling up as next season’s rookies hit the hardwood and the flagship products roll out.
The Sun fell from 28-12 and the 2024 semifinals to a franchise-worst 11-33 in 2025 after losing head coach Stephanie White and their entire starting lineup, ending an eight-year playoff streak. Alyssa Thomas cards cooled immediately after her trade to Phoenix, while DeWanna Bonner and Brionna Jones departures further gutted collector interest in a core that had driven steady demand through four Finals appearances since 2019. The 2025 collapse tanked values across the roster aside from rookie Aneesah Morrow, whose rebounding production offered the lone bright spot for a team that returned just 11.4% of its scoring.
Where they stand: Connecticut sits 7-23 through 30 games in its final season before relocating to Houston, ranking last in offensive rating despite adding Brittney Griner in the offseason. Morrow continues to lead in scoring and rebounding, but the Sun have won just twice since mid-May and remain mired at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings as of August 9, 2026.
