LAS VEGAS ACES
The Aces keep winning championships and I keep ripping Prizm and Select trying to chase A’ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray. No autos yet, but there’s a solid stack of base and parallels that’ll do just fine. With this squad still dominating and more rookies getting drafted every year, this binder section’s only getting fatter.
The Aces won back-to-back titles in 2022-23, fell in the 2024 semifinals to New York, then reclaimed the championship in 2025 with a 30-14 record and Finals sweep of Phoenix. A'ja Wilson's cards have remained premium throughout the run as she captured MVP honors, while the offseason trade sending Kelsey Plum to Los Angeles for Jewell Loyd shifted collector focus—Plum's cards moved with her to the Sparks, and Loyd's integration into the Vegas core created new dual-star pairing opportunities with Wilson. Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young re-signed to maintain the championship roster, keeping their cards tied to contention.
Where they stand: The Aces sit at 22-9 in early August 2026, holding second place in the Western Conference. Wilson continues to anchor the offense while the Loyd acquisition aims to fill the Plum void, with the defending champions positioning for another playoff run. Midseason additions like NaLyssa Smith (acquired from Dallas) have reinforced the frontcourt depth as Vegas pursues a second consecutive title.
