📣 DAD’S TAKEON BRIAN ROBINSON JR.

*adjusts reading glasses and squints at card* Look at this guy running around like he's late for his shift at the local GameStop! That burgundy and yellow uniform makes him look like a condiment bottle that came to life, and don't get me started on those fancy gloves – in my day we caught footballs with our bare hands and liked it! Sure, he helped beat Detroit, but he's probably still figuring out how to tie those cleats without velcro straps.

ABOUT BRIAN ROBINSON JR.

Brian Robinson Jr. is the Commanders' bruising running back who's made a name for himself as a reliable goal line threat and tough runner between the tackles. He really showed what he's made of in that huge playoff upset against the Lions back in January, punching in two touchdowns in the red zone when Washington needed it most. The guy just has that physical style that translates well in big moments, which is exactly what collectors love to see from their players. His cards don't carry that rookie premium since he's been around a bit, but that makes him more affordable for collectors who want solid players without breaking the bank. Look for his numbered parallels and any cards featuring his playoff performances, those tend to hold value better.

Robinson was outstanding against the Lions in the NFC Divisional Round on Jan. 18, 2025. Grinding down Detroit's defense, he toted the rock 15 times. Those attempts were turned into a team-high 77 yards and two TDs to secure Washington's 45-31 win and a spot in the NFC Championship Game.

— 2025 SCORE

Robinson gained nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage across his first two seasons with Washington (1,958). Who knows what numbers he could reach playing in a new go-go-go offense under Kliff Kingsbury? "I just know the tempo will be faster compared to last year," the running back said.

— 2025 CHROME

Washington was a huge underdog when he headed to Auburn for a playoff tilt on Jan 18, 2025. No one told Robinson though. Playing like a front-runner all night, the physical back plowed through the Lions. He tallied 17 yards on 15 carries and scored twice in the red zone, helping his squad to a 45-31 victory.

A powerful downhill runner who thrives on contact and gains physical running back on the NFL coming over ballcarrier. The edge is among the more punitive stays in.

— 2025 CHROME

Defenders regret trying to tackle Robinson when they find themselves on their back, staring up at the sky. A powerful runner, the physical ball-carrier does not shy away from contact. Embracing it, he totes the rock and plows through opponents and surges through attempted takedowns.

— 2025 MOSAIC

Robinson gets better and better with each week, and in 2023, the second-year running back earned plaudits from his teammates for springing open for passes and making something out of busted plays. "He has a good feel for the game," Commanders QB Sam Howell said. "He's just a smart football player."
