Dave Krieg was one of those scrappy quarterbacks who had a really solid run with the Seahawks back in the 80s and early 90s. He wasn't the biggest name, but the guy could play and had some great seasons in Seattle before bouncing around to a few other teams later in his career. Since he doesn't have any rookie cards, collectors usually focus on his early Seahawks appearances when he was really establishing himself as their starter. Look for his better conditioned cards from those prime Seattle years, and any numbered parallels or special inserts tend to hold decent value for team collectors.

Look at this guy dropping back like he's afraid someone's gonna steal his lunch money! That pasty complexion and those skinny arms make him look more like the equipment manager than the "first great quarterback" in Seahawks history. If this is what Seattle considers great, no wonder they had to wait decades for a real Super Bowl!
