📣 DAD’S TAKEON BROOKS LEE

Look at this kid running around in those cream-colored pajamas like he's modeling for a Nike catalog instead of playing baseball. And what's with holding the glove up like that – you want a trophy for catching a routine grounder? Back in my day, third basemen got dirty and didn't worry about their hair looking perfect for the camera.

ABOUT BROOKS LEE

Brooks Lee is one of those prospects the Twins have been grooming for a while now, and he finally got his shot in the big leagues last August. The kid was the eighth overall pick back in 2022 out of Cal Poly, and he's been crushing it in the minors ever since, even winning Baseball America's Minor League Player of the Year in 2024. He put up solid numbers in his first taste of the majors, hitting .258 with some pop, and collectors are betting he's going to be Minnesota's everyday third baseman going forward. Since he debuted in 2024, you're looking at first-year cards rather than true rookies, but his early stuff should still carry a nice premium if he breaks out, especially the numbered parallels and autographs.

Lee hit .273 with 20 homers, 8 triples, 30 doubles and 90 RBI in 2025 at Triple-A St. Paul. The 2022 first-round pick made his MLB debut in August and hit .258 with 3 homers and 17 RBI in 45 games. Lee was the eighth overall pick in the 2022 draft out of Cal Poly. He was Baseball America's Minor League Player of the Year in 2024 and was named to the All-Star Futures Game in 2023 and 2024.
