Detroit turned in one of the NBA's most remarkable turnarounds over the past two seasons, going from a franchise-worst 14-68 in 2023-24 to 44-38 and a playoff berth in 2024-25, then an East-best 60-22 and the top seed in 2025-26. Cade Cunningham's breakout elevated his card market significantly as he posted All-NBA numbers (23.9 points, 9.9 assists in 2025-26, up from 26.1 and 9.1 the prior year), while Jalen Duren's emergence as a two-time All-Star has driven collector interest in his early issues. Former 2022 lottery pick Jaden Ivey saw his cards cool after injuries limited his role and Detroit dealt him at the February 2026 deadline for shooter Kevin Huerter, while the club also moved Isaiah Stewart to Memphis this summer.
