📣 DAD’S TAKEON GRANT HILL

Look at Mr. Pretty Boy here with his perfect goatee and pristine headband, posing like he's shooting a cologne ad instead of a basketball. Of course he went to Duke – probably spent more time in front of the mirror than in the weight room. And what's with staring off into the distance like that? The hoop's the other way, chief!

ABOUT GRANT HILL

Grant Hill was one of those rare guys who could do absolutely everything on the court, and he proved it early with the Pistons when he put up a triple-double as a rookie back in '95, just the second Detroit rookie ever to do that. The guy shared Rookie of the Year honors and immediately became a superstar, though injuries later derailed what should've been an all-time great career. Collectors still love his stuff because of that incredible potential and those early Detroit years when he was must-see TV. His rookie cards from '94-'95 are still highly sought after, especially in high grade, and you'll want to look for autographs and low-numbered parallels since those command serious premiums.

On April 7, 1995, Hill fleshed his do-it-all game when he scored 21 points, snatched 11 rebounds and dished out 10 times in a 104-94 win over Orlando. The co-Rookie of the Year became the second Detroit rookie to record a triple-double, joining Dave DeBusschere, who accomplished the feat in 1962-63.
