The Aggies binder’s got a solid rotation of Prizm Draft Picks and Prizm Black, including some Luke Joeckel and a few Marcel Reed rookies that showed up when I wasn’t looking. No autos yet, but I’m not holding my breath. With A&M churning out NFL-bound talent every year, this stack’s only gonna get taller—more rookies, more Prizm, more reasons to reorganize this thing.
Mike Elko's first season in 2024 yielded an 8-5 record, but the program exploded in 2025 with an 11-2 finish after an 11-0 start and their first College Football Playoff appearance. Quarterback Marcel Reed started all 13 games in 2025, throwing for 3,169 yards with 25 touchdowns, his breakout performance driving collector interest in his cards. Reed announced his return for 2026, stabilizing the market for his rookie cards after the team's playoff run elevated demand.
Where they stand: Offensive coordinator Collin Klein left for Kansas State in December 2025, with Holmon Wiggins promoted to offensive coordinator, while defensive coordinator Jay Bateman departed for Kentucky and Lyle Hemphill was promoted to replace him. The Aggies are in the preseason phase ahead of their 2026 opener on September 5, with 26 recruits signed in the 2026 class and 17 transfer portal additions bolstering the roster for Elko's third season.
