It took just two games for Marvin to show why he was such a sought-after wide receiver coming out of Ohio State. In his second NFL contest on September 15, 2024, the big, physical wideout hauled in two touchdown passes against the Rams, part of a four-catch, 130-yard effort. Harrison went 60 yards on his second score, stretching out at the goal line.

Time on task. That's a productivity concept, which is a fancy way of saying the more you do something, the better you get. Harrison feels the same way after his promising rookie season. "That just happens with any type of time – you just feel more comfortable naturally."

Harrison made a major change to his physical makeup for Year 2, adding 11 pounds of mostly muscle with the intent of winning more one-on-one situations. "It's a contested catch league at the end of the day," he said. "You're gonna come down in playing physical."

In 2024, Harrison was fifth among rookie receivers with 885 yards and fourth with 14.3 yards per catch. What doesn't tell you is how many spectacular plays we made along the way, judging by the many highlight clips the rising Cardinals star would have left in that department if it were an official stat.

Marvin doesn't leave Arizona's facility until he wraps up a daily routine that includes catching 200 extra passes from the JUGS machine. The dedicated work ethic he inherited from his father, Marvin, a Hall of Famer, gives the elite playmaker a chance to be the Cardinals WR1 for years to come.

Harrison achieved many aspirations as a rookie in 2024, among them being the Cardinals' top wide receiver. He went into the next phase of his career thinking higher — for the team. "Win," he said. "That's what I am looking forward to. Really, just win." In Arizona, that happens with him.

If you do a Google search for Harrison's name, you're likely to find multiple videos of amazing catches high in the results. One such example happened in Week 10 of 2024. The Jets defender covering him had no chance as Kyler Murray dropped a dime into the corner of the end zone for a dazzling 9-yard score.

For the most part, receivers fall in line with the same size-to-speed ratio. The bigger they are, the slower they are, and vice versa. Harrison defies those traditional correlations. With his muscular 6-foot-3 frame, the one-of-a-kind wideout burns defensive backs with cloud-of-dust speed.
