Look at this guy posing like he's cradling a newborn baby instead of a football! Sure, he's got 12 minutes of highlight reels, but in this photo he looks like he's afraid the ball might bite him. And what's with that deer-in-the-headlights expression? For someone who supposedly terrorized defenses, he looks like he just got caught sneaking cookies before dinner!

Oh man, Devin Hester is absolutely legendary when it comes to return specialists. This guy was pure electricity for the Bears, and honestly, no one else even comes close to what he did returning punts and kicks. He took 19 returns to the house during his career, 14 on punts and 5 on kickoffs, which is just insane when you think about it. Most return guys would kill for even half those numbers. Since he doesn't have true rookie cards, his early-year stuff from when he first broke out tends to carry the premium, especially any numbered parallels or autographed versions.
He's hard to imagine a more explosive debut season than Hester's. In 2006, the rookie return specialist became the first player in NFL history to return the opening kickoff of a Super Bowl for a touchdown. Hester was a two-way player at Miami, playing both wide receiver and cornerback. He returned six kicks for touchdowns during his college career, including a 78-yard punt return for a score. At 5'11" and 190 pounds, Hester has the speed and elusiveness to be one of the most dangerous return men in the NFL for years to come.

It's hard to imagine a more eye-popping debut season than Hester's. As a rookie, he sure left the Packers, Cardinals, Vikings and Cardinals with their jaws dropped.
