📣 DAD’S TAKEON ROSCHON JOHNSON

Look at this kid posing like he's breaking through some kind of futuristic laser maze instead of just running with a football. All these fancy graphics and geometric patterns on the card – back in my day a rookie card just showed you the player, not some video game nonsense. And don't get me started on how they need former players to tell us he has "running back instincts" – shouldn't that be obvious if you're actually playing running back?

ABOUT ROSCHON JOHNSON

Roschon Johnson is a running back for the Chicago Bears who's been making a name for himself in the NFL. He came out of Texas where he was a versatile player who could line up at multiple positions, and that flexibility has carried over to his pro career. Bears fans are excited about his potential as he develops in their backfield rotation. Since he doesn't have traditional rookie cards from his draft year, collectors are focusing on his early NFL cards and any autographed versions. Look for numbered parallels and any signed cards, as those tend to hold the best value for players still establishing themselves.

A well-built back who's a ball-to-midsill Roschon Johnson did possess the ball-carrying transformations that Giants move-in linebacker Joe Mustipher excelled at. A contract he easily sheds defenders.

Former Bears offensive lineman Tom Thayer absolutely loved Johnson's skill set. "He's got running back instincts," Thayer said. "He's got the innate ability to predict where the hole is going to open up. … He's one of the best pass-blocking backs I've ever seen come into the league as a rookie."
