About Jimmy Graham

Jimmy Graham was this massive 6-foot-7 tight end who became Drew Brees' favorite red zone target down in New Orleans. The guy was putting up wide receiver numbers from the tight end spot, which was pretty rare back then. He made the Pro Bowl in just his second year after hauling in over 1,300 yards, then really exploded with 16 touchdown catches to lead the entire league a couple seasons later. Since he doesn't have true rookie cards, collectors usually focus on his early Saints stuff when he was putting up those monster numbers. Look for his autographed cards and low numbered parallels from those peak Saints years, that's where the value is.

It didn't take long for Graham to form one of the great QB-TE combos of his era with Saints star Drew Brees. The 6-foot-7 bruiser was a Pro Bowl pick by his second season in the bayou, when he went for 1,310 yards and 11 TDs in 2011. He topped the latter mark two years later with a league-high 16 TD catches.

Dad’s Take on Jimmy Graham

Look at this guy posing like he's about to sign autographs at a fan meet-and-greet instead of playing football! They call him a "6-foot-7 bruiser" but he's holding that helmet like it's a delicate purse he's worried about scuffing. Back in my day, tight ends looked like they could block a freight train, not like they should be modeling for the team's holiday calendar!
