Look at Mr. Perfect Hair here with his pristine uniform – buddy, you're supposed to be a defensive lineman, not modeling for a shampoo commercial. Those white wristbands are so spotless I can barely believe you've played a down. And what's with standing there like you're posing for your high school yearbook? Get in a three-point stance or something!

ABOUT HOWIE LONG

Howie Long was one of those Raiders defensive ends who just terrorized quarterbacks for over a decade in the silver and black. The guy made eight Pro Bowls during his 13-year career from 1981 to 1993 and was a huge part of those dominant Raiders championship teams in the 80s. After he hung up his cleats, he transitioned into TV work and even did some acting, so he's got that crossover appeal that collectors love. Since he doesn't have true rookie cards, his early 80s issues are what you want to target. Look for his autographed cards and low-numbered parallels, those tend to hold their value really well with Hall of Famers like Long.
