THE JIM MCMAHON COLLECTION
Base, parallels, numbered, autos — every Jim McMahon card Dad’s willing to part with.

Look at this guy holding the ball like he's cradling a newborn instead of leading an offense. And what's with that number 7? Every hotshot QB thinks they're some kind of lucky charm. The Eagles were so desperate after Cunningham went down they grabbed a guy who looks like he just rolled out of a poker game in Vegas.
ABOUT JIM MCMAHON
Oh man, Jim McMahon with the Eagles, that's a fun one. Most people remember him as the brash, sunglasses-wearing QB who led the '85 Bears to a Super Bowl, but he actually had this great second act in Philly. When Randall Cunningham got hurt in '91, McMahon stepped in and went 8-3 as a starter, including a six-game winning streak that kept their season alive. His Eagles cards are pretty affordable compared to his Chicago stuff, so it's a nice way to grab a piece of Super Bowl history without breaking the bank. Look for his action shots in the green uniform, those are always popular with collectors who remember that clutch '91 season.
When quarterback Randall Cunningham went down in the 1991 season opener, the Eagles could rest easy knowing they had a Super Bowl winner ready to take the reins in McMahon. The former Bears star expertly commanded the team in 11 starts, going 8-3 and rattling off six consecutive wins from Weeks 10-15.
Jim was the fierce competitor breaking the huddle for Chicago during their magical 1985 season. The gutsy signal-caller regularly put his body on the line while leading the Bears to their first (and only) Super Bowl title. McMahon had a .754 winning percentage as a starter for the team from 1982-88.
