📣 DAD’S TAKEON BYRON MURPHY II
Three rookie cards from a guy who turned into a Super Bowl champion by year two, not a bad start to a Murphy collection. The Optic parallels give you some color variety beyond base cardboard, though having two copies of the same card number in different finishes is the kind of thing that happens when you're chasing shiny objects. Would be nice to see some true rookies from different products rather than Optic duplicates, but at least these document the beginning of a legitimately productive career.
ABOUT BYRON MURPHY II
Byron Murphy II was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, becoming the first Texas defensive lineman taken in the first round since Malcom Brown in 2015. Murphy finished his Texas career winning Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year and being named first-team All-Texas selection and a second-team All-American by the AP and Sporting News. Born September 8, 2002, in DeSoto, Texas, the 6-0, 306-pound defensive tackle has made an immediate impact in Seattle. Murphy won a Super Bowl championship in 2025, and is off to a strong start in his third season, including a two-sack performance in a loss to the 49ers.
This collection features three 2024 rookie cards from Murphy's debut NFL season. The owner holds one Mosaic base in the Mosaic finish, plus two copies of Donruss Optic card number 217 in Purple Shock and Stars parallels. These represent Murphy's first professional trading cards, issued during a rookie campaign that laid the foundation for his breakout sophomore season.

Choose the card for your collection rather than treating this page as a prediction of investment returns.
