THE BYRON BUXTON COLLECTION
Base, parallels, numbered, autos — every Byron Buxton card Dad’s willing to part with.
Look at Mr. Fancy Pants posing like he's in some kind of laser light show at the planetarium. All that green and yellow graphic nonsense in the background – what is this, a baseball card or a rave? And he's doing the home run follow-through like he just cured cancer, when the guy can't stay healthy long enough to play a full season without something falling off.
ABOUT BYRON BUXTON
Byron Buxton is one of those guys who can absolutely take over a game when he's healthy. The Twins center fielder has elite speed, serious power, and plays Gold Glove defense, which is a rare combo. He's had some incredible stretches where he looks like the best player in baseball, like that game against Texas where he went deep for a three-run shot and added a double and a steal in the same night. Collectors love the upside but know the injury history keeps values a bit more reasonable than they'd be otherwise. Look for his autographs and lower numbered parallels since those hold value better given he doesn't have traditional rookie cards from the major manufacturers.
Byron made his first appearance in the World Baseball Classic in 2026. Buxton was thrilled for the opportunity to represent his country in the event. "It's special," he said. "To be able to put this uniform on and come out here with the best of the best of America, I'm very thankful. I'm grateful for the opportunity. Blessed to be around these guys. It's a long time coming, so I'm excited."
On June 11, Byron went 3-for-3 with a homer, a double, a walk, a steal and three RBI to lead the Twins to a 6-2 victory over Texas. He drove in all his runs with one swing — a roundtripper in the bottom of the third.
Byron drove in a season-high five runs on June 2, going 2-for-5 with a double and a steal in Minnesota's 10-4 victory over the Athletics. He had a two-run two-bagger in the second inning and a two-run single in the sixth.
