Arroyo is officially listed as a tight end. The Seahawks think of him as more, however. He does, too. "When it comes to the pass game, I like to count myself as a receiver," the rookie said. It's easy to see why. The second-rounder out of Miami is fluid in his routes to all parts of the field.

Anything thrown to Arroyo is going to end up in the sure hands of the Seahawks' 2025 rookie tight end. It doesn't matter if he's wide open or dealing with tight coverage from a defender. All the quarterback has to do is target him and watch as he adds another reception to the stat sheet.

The thing that most excites Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald about Arroyo's potential is the way he blends physicality with fast feet. "To have to account for his flight body on the field and him also to be able to split out wide, do X receiver type of thing … just provides a ton of value," he said.

Arroyo is a fine addition to the Seattle offense, says Michael Rumpus. "He's a tight end and that possesses things that only a couple tight ends can do," the former wideout said on Bump and Run Rumpus. "You can move him around. You can put him outside, put him in the slot and attach him to the line of scrimmage."

Arroyo was a three-year starter at Miami and finished his collegiate career with 86 catches for 1,164 yards and seven touchdowns. He was a first-team All-ACC selection.
